General Contractors
A Chilliwack general contractor of twenty-five years, working mainly on house builds and whole-home renovations.
Chilliwack added something like 11,700 people in five years, growing 11.6 per cent between 2020 and 2025, and general contracting is one of the largest categories on this site as a direct result. Final Finish Contracting is listed among them, with twenty-five years of trading behind it and a stated focus on house builds and whole-home renovations.
Those two things sit at opposite ends of the same trade. A new house is a permitting and scheduling exercise from bare ground; a whole-home renovation is the harder problem of working inside a structure that already exists and only reveals what it is made of once the walls are open. Chilliwack has a lot of both. The new build work follows the subdivisions on Promontory and in Vedder, while the renovation trade concentrates in the older downtown housing and on Fairfield Island, where the stock is old enough to need it.
Building in this city also carries a permitting dimension that catches people out. Two thirds of the municipality is farmland inside the Agricultural Land Reserve, large parts of the low ground carry a floodplain designation, and the hillside neighborhoods add slope on top of both. Each changes what can be built and how long approval takes, and knowing that ground is worth more than a general reputation.
No address, phone number or website is published, which is common enough for a builder who works on client sites and does not keep a counter for visitors, but it does mean there is no way to make contact here. Anyone following this up will need to find the current number elsewhere. When you do get through, the useful questions are narrow: whether the firm is taking work in your timeframe, whether it has built on comparable ground in the city, and who actually manages the site day to day.

The City defines twelve neighborhoods. Three of them hold about two thirds of the population and most of the shopfronts, and the other nine run from a drained lake bed to a hillside to a working dairy landscape. Here is the honest version of each.
