Almost everything automotive in Chilliwack is on one of two roads. Luckakuck Way and the Young Road corridor hold the dealership row and most of the tyre and service business; the light-industrial pockets behind Sardis and out in Village West hold the independent shops, which is where the interesting ones are. The city runs on vehicles more than most of its size, because two thirds of the municipality is farmland and there is no meaningful transit to it, so the trade here includes a layer you do not get in a compact city: agricultural and heavy equipment repair, trailer work, and shops that will look at a truck that has been up a logging road.
