Dentists
A dental practice on the downtown side of the Hope Slough.
Two clusters hold most of the dental practices in Chilliwack. The older one is downtown, near Chilliwack General Hospital on Menholm Road and through the professional blocks around Five Corners. The newer one, now the larger of the pair, runs south along Vedder Road through Sardis and on toward Vedder and Promontory, following the houses. Chilliwack Dental Care belongs to the first of those, in the downtown neighborhood on the Hope Slough side.
Rural Chilliwack has essentially no dentistry of its own. Yarrow, Greendale, Rosedale and Ryder Lake all drive in, which is a reasonable thing to weigh when booking from that side of the valley, particularly in the winter half of the year when the hill roads are less forgiving. The advantage of the older cluster, for whatever it is worth to a given patient, is proximity: the hospital, the pharmacies and most of the professional offices in the city sit inside the same handful of blocks. Between them the two clusters cover general dentistry, hygiene, orthodontics, oral surgery and denture work, though which of those any single practice actually does is a question for the practice. It is a dental office in the core neighborhood, and nothing about its scope was established.
Contact detail is also short. No telephone number, no website and no street address are published, only the postal code V2P 4A6 to locate it. Anyone trying to reach it will be working from that, from a search, or from the provincial dental regulator's public register, which lists licensed dentists alongside the addresses they practise from and is the authoritative place to confirm both. Whether the office is taking new patients, which plans it bills directly, and how far ahead it is booking are the three things that actually determine whether a practice is useful to you, and all three change often enough that only a phone call settles them.

The City defines twelve neighborhoods. Three of them hold about two thirds of the population and most of the shopfronts, and the other nine run from a drained lake bed to a hillside to a working dairy landscape. Here is the honest version of each.
