Home Goods
An independent home goods shop in one of the Sardis plazas along Vedder Road.
Julie Anne's Art Supplies and Gallery sits in the home goods category on this site, which is a reasonable place to put it and not an exact one. The name describes two things, a supplier and a gallery, and neither is quite what most people mean by home goods. Categories in a directory are containers rather than definitions, and this is one of the cases where reading the name gets you closer than reading the heading above it. Anyone scanning the category for cushions and casserole dishes should read it twice.
What the heading does describe is a real Chilliwack trade. The city added something like 11,700 residents between 2020 and 2025 and most of them moved into new construction, which has kept the business of furnishing a house busy. The chain stores took Cottonwood Centre and Eagle Landing and are not listed here. The independents are downtown, in the District 1881 blocks and out through Sardis, and they tend to be the shops carrying pottery, textiles, kitchen goods and gifts, often with a shelf given over to local makers. There is a working craft economy in the valley, and this category is where most of it reaches a counter.
The business is in Sardis, the neighborhood that carries a disproportionate share of Chilliwack's storefronts across Cottonwood Centre, Chilliwack Mall and the Luckakuck Way strip. No street address, phone number or website is published, only the postal code, which narrows it to a block rather than a door. For a shop where the stock is the whole point, that is thin, and anyone hunting a particular material, size or format should expect to establish it in person rather than in advance. The gallery half of the name suggests there is work on the walls as well as materials on the shelves, though whose, and how often it changes, cannot be known from here.
In the Sardis neighbourhood of Chilliwack.

The City defines twelve neighborhoods. Three of them hold about two thirds of the population and most of the shopfronts, and the other nine run from a drained lake bed to a hillside to a working dairy landscape. Here is the honest version of each.
