Home Goods
A local home goods shop near the Cottonwood and Chilliwack Mall cluster, on Yale Road.
Kitchenware, linens and decor are a growth business in Chilliwack for reasons that have nothing much to do with taste. The city added roughly 11,700 residents between 2020 and 2025, an increase of 11.6 per cent, and a great many of them arrived into something newly built and empty. The chain versions of the category are at Cottonwood Centre and Eagle Landing and are not listed in this directory; the independents are downtown, in the District 1881 blocks, and out here in Sardis.
PRISM Studio is at unit 2, 45467 Yale Road, which is the Sardis end of Yale rather than the downtown stretch, close to the Cottonwood and Chilliwack Mall cluster. Sardis carries a wildly disproportionate share of the city's storefronts for a neighborhood only fourth largest by area, and a small independent shop sitting near seventy-plus mall tenancies is making a deliberate choice about where the foot traffic already is. That is the pattern across this category: the volume sits at the two big centers, and the independents work the edges of it. The valley also has a real maker economy behind it, in pottery, textiles and small-batch goods, and home goods is where most of that reaches an actual shelf.
Both a phone number and a website are published for this one, which is more than many similar shops have listed and makes checking straightforward. The range is not described here, because nobody has audited it, and stock in independent shops of this kind moves with the season and with whatever the buyer has found. The word studio in the name could point at a shop floor, a workroom, or both at once, and nothing here settles which. None of the usual assumptions about opening hours hold reliably either, and no hours are published here. For anything specific, and particularly a gift with a deadline attached, the number above will settle in a minute what a drive across town might not.

The City defines twelve neighborhoods. Three of them hold about two thirds of the population and most of the shopfronts, and the other nine run from a drained lake bed to a hillside to a working dairy landscape. Here is the honest version of each.
