Landscaping & Lawn Care
A Chilliwack landscaping and snow-removal contractor based off Higginson Road, taking residential and strata grounds work.
Snow clearing is a real line of winter work in Chilliwack, though not evenly across the city. The valley floor can go most of a season without much, while Promontory, the Eastern Hillsides and Ryder Lake sit high enough to get it properly, and a strata up there needs its lots and walkways cleared whether or not anything is falling downtown. That is why landscaping and snow removal are so often the same business here, and this contractor is recorded as doing both.
Landscaping in Chilliwack runs from a suburban lawn to several acres, and most operators sit at one end or the other. The residential work has followed the new housing up onto Promontory and the Eastern Hillsides, where it means retaining walls, slope planting, drainage and irrigation on ground that was forest fifteen years ago. The rural work is a different business again: pasture, hedging, field drainage and tree work on holdings out through Greendale, Rosedale and Ryder Lake. Strata grounds maintenance, which this contractor is recorded as taking, is a third thing, closer to a scheduled service contract than to a job with an end date. None of that is visible here, which gives a category and not a specialism.
There is a Higginson Road address with a unit letter, a phone number and no website. That is the usual shape for a contractor who works on other people's ground: the address is a base rather than somewhere to visit, and the phone is the front door. The postal code puts it in the southern half of the city, which for a mobile trade tells you less than it would for a shop. It helps to know before calling which piece of work you are after, since a one-off clearance, a season contract for a strata and construction on a slope are three quite different conversations, and not every operator takes all three.

The City defines twelve neighborhoods. Three of them hold about two thirds of the population and most of the shopfronts, and the other nine run from a drained lake bed to a hillside to a working dairy landscape. Here is the honest version of each.
