Landscaping in Chilliwack ranges from a suburban lawn to several acres, and the operators on this page tend to sit at one end or the other. The residential trade follows the new housing up onto Promontory and the Eastern Hillsides, where the work is retaining walls, slope planting, drainage and irrigation on ground that was forest fifteen years ago. The rural trade is a different business: pasture, hedging, drainage, field maintenance and tree work on holdings out through Greendale, Rosedale and Ryder Lake. Snow clearing is a real winter line here for the hillside neighborhoods, which get it when the valley floor does not.
