Storage in Chilliwack
Self storage has grown quickly in Chilliwack for two reasons that pull in the same direction: a lot of people arriving from smaller places into new-build housing with less room than they expected, and a rural population with equipment, boats, RVs and trailers to put somewhere for eight months of the year. That RV and boat storage line is a bigger part of the trade here than in most cities, given Cultus Lake and the Chilliwack River valley. The facilities are mostly out along Highway 1 and in the industrial areas at Village West and Cattermole. National storage chains are not listed.
