Chilliwack has an unusual amount of moving going on, in both directions. People arrive from Metro Vancouver for the housing prices — the city grew 11.6 per cent between 2020 and 2025 — and people move within it, out of the older downtown stock and up onto Promontory and the Eastern Hillsides. Both are hard moves for different reasons: the first is a long haul down Highway 1, the second involves narrow hillside streets and steep driveways. The operators on this page cover local and long-distance residential work, with several handling packing, storage and the occasional farm or office relocation. National franchises are excluded.
