Movers
A Chilliwack moving and labour outfit operating since 2006, doing local residential moves across the city and the wider valley.
Two different kinds of move keep this trade busy in Chilliwack, and they are hard in different ways. People arrive from Metro Vancouver because of what housing costs there, which means a long haul east down Highway 1 with a whole household in one load. Others move within the city, generally out of the older downtown stock and up onto Promontory or the Eastern Hillsides, where the streets are narrow, the corners are tight and the driveways sit at angles that make a loaded truck an interesting problem. The city grew 11.6 per cent between 2020 and 2025, so there has been a good deal of both.
Paul's Moving and Labour Services has been working since 2006, doing local residential moves across Chilliwack and out into the wider valley. The second half of the name is worth noticing. In this trade, labour services usually describes hiring a crew for the lifting and carrying without the truck, which is what people want when they have rented a van themselves, or are shifting a household within one building, or need a room emptied rather than a home relocated. Whether that is how this particular outfit prefers to work is a question for first contact.
No street address, telephone number or website is recorded on the listing. For a moving company the missing address is normal rather than a gap, since the work happens at the customer's place and a yard is not a shopfront. It is worth asking early whether packing and storage are part of the arrangement, because some operators in this category handle both and others will only move what is already boxed. Scope, distance, stairs, insurance and what a crew of a given size costs all have to be settled at the outset, and being specific about every one of them tends to prevent the argument at the other end.

The drive-throughs on Luckakuck are the visible half of eating here. The interesting half is downtown, out on the farm roads, and in the strip plazas nobody photographs.
