Electronics Stores
An independent electronics and repair shop in one of the Sardis plazas along Vedder Road.
The national electronics retailers in this city are at Eagle Landing by the Highway 1 interchange and along Luckakuck Way, and none of them appear in this directory. What is left is a different trade altogether. Chilliwack's independent electronics layer is mostly repair and service rather than boxed goods: computer shops in Sardis and the downtown that will fix a laptop, recover a drive or build a machine, phone and tablet screen repair, a small business-IT tier serving the offices in the core and the industrial operations out in Village West, and an audio and car-audio strand that sits close to the automotive trade.
For a specification sheet and a manufacturer's warranty, go to the mall. For something fixed, this is the list.
Sardis is where most of Chilliwack's shopping happens. Cottonwood Centre carries something over seventy tenancies, Chilliwack Mall is across the way, and Luckakuck Way between them is the closest the city comes to a big-box strip. For a neighbourhood only fourth largest by area, it holds a wildly disproportionate share of the storefronts, which means an independent here trades in the shadow of the chains rather than at a safe distance from them.
The record gives a postal code and a neighbourhood but no street number, no phone and no website, so there is nothing in it to say which side of the retail-and-repair line this shop falls on, or what it handles. The name is suggestive, but a name is not a stock list. Repair also prices differently from retail: most shops want to look at a device before quoting, and the first useful question is often whether the job is worth doing at all against the cost of replacing the thing. Worth locating first and asking second, particularly if the job is a specific repair rather than a browse, and worth remembering that the postal code covers a stretch of Sardis rather than one unit door.

The drive-throughs on Luckakuck are the visible half of eating here. The interesting half is downtown, out on the farm roads, and in the strip plazas nobody photographs.
