Most of what looks like fast food in Chilliwack is not local. The visible version of the category is the run of drive-throughs along Luckakuck Way and out at the Highway 1 interchange, and those are almost entirely national chains, which this directory does not list.
What remains is the half that is harder to find and generally better: independent pizza shops, Asian takeout counters in the Sardis strip plazas, fish and chips near Vedder Crossing, Middle Eastern and Mexican places downtown, and the trucks that move around the industrial areas at lunchtime.
