An independent place to stay in the old commercial grid around Five Corners.
Coast Chilliwack Hotel by APA is on First Avenue, inside the old commercial grid of the downtown and within easy reach of Five Corners, where Yale Road, Young Road and Wellington Avenue meet. That is a deliberate sort of address for a hotel in this city. Most of Chilliwack's rooms sit out at the Highway 1 interchanges, which suits a driver stopping overnight on the way to somewhere else. A downtown location suits someone whose reason for being here is in Chilliwack itself.
There is a fair amount of that. The downtown holds more than 350 businesses, Chilliwack General Hospital is on Menholm Road a few minutes away, and the District 1881 development on the former Chilliwack Cattle Sales site has added a run of food and retail within walking distance. The city has grown quickly as well, up 11.6 per cent between 2020 and 2025 by the municipality's own estimate, and a good share of the visiting traffic is business, family or hospital related rather than purely recreational. The municipal airport and the Coliseum fall inside the same neighborhood as well, which is the sort of thing that matters when the reason for the trip is an event rather than a drive through.
Accommodation demand across Chilliwack still swings hard with the seasons, though, and that is worth knowing whatever sort of trip this is. Cultus Lake, the Vedder fishing runs, Mount Cheam and the campgrounds up the Chilliwack River valley fill the warm half of the year and empty the cold one. August in particular wants booking well ahead. Both a telephone number and a website are published against this record, so rates, availability, parking and accessibility can all be confirmed directly, and that is the sensible route. This page records where the hotel is and how to reach it. It does not describe the rooms, the rates, or anything else that moves week to week.

Search for a Chilliwack electrician and a good part of the first page is a Metro Vancouver firm with a Chilliwack landing page. How to tell the difference, what the hillside and farm jobs actually need, and how to get a quote that holds.

The City defines twelve neighborhoods. Three of them hold about two thirds of the population and most of the shopfronts, and the other nine run from a drained lake bed to a hillside to a working dairy landscape. Here is the honest version of each.
