One of the longest-established electrical contractors in the valley, trading in Chilliwack since 1979 and working both town and agricultural jobs.
Electrical work in Chilliwack divides more sharply than it does in most cities, and the division is worth understanding before phoning anyone. There is new residential, which for fifteen years has meant Promontory, the Eastern Hillsides and the Vedder subdivisions. There is service and rewiring in the older stock downtown and on Fairfield Island, much of it mid-century and none of it wired for the way a house gets used now. And there is agricultural and industrial work: barns, milking parlours, irrigation, three-phase supply, feed and grain equipment out through Greendale, Rosedale and Yarrow, and the plants in Village West and Cattermole. The third strand is specialist, and plenty of residential electricians will not touch it.
This contractor is recorded as working both the town and the agricultural side, and as having traded in Chilliwack since 1979, which puts it among the longest-running electrical firms in the valley. Chilliwack is the largest dairy producing area in British Columbia, with poultry and greenhouse growing behind it, so the farm strand of the work is a bigger proportion of the trade here than the population would suggest.
