An owner-run restaurant, off the Luckakuck Way strip.
Sardis holds more of Chilliwack's retail than any other neighbourhood, and a good share of its restaurants come with it, though they are easy to miss. Most of the rooms along Vedder Road and around the Luckakuck Way strip sit inside plazas, set back behind parking, with signage aimed at drivers rather than at anyone on foot. Hana Sushi is one of these, recorded on the V2R 3P3 postal code just off that strip, with no street address given in this entry. The city has grown quickly enough, from 93,203 residents at the 2021 census to something near 112,500 on the City's own 2025 estimate, that the plaza kitchens along this corridor now feed a considerably larger population than the format would suggest.
The name points to a Japanese kitchen, which is as far as anything here can responsibly go on the subject of the food. What the directory can say is where the category sits in this city. Chilliwack's independent dining rooms are scattered rather than clustered, and that is the single most useful thing to know before going looking for dinner. The downtown carries the highest concentration, around Five Corners and in the District 1881 development on the old Chilliwack Cattle Sales site. Vedder Road through Sardis and Vedder has the greatest number of rooms overall. Yarrow and Rosedale hold a handful that have outlasted several owners. Chains are excluded from this site, so what is left on the restaurants page is local by definition.
Nothing else is published with this record: no phone number, no website, no hours. For a restaurant that is a real gap, because kitchens of this kind vary in whether they run continuous service or shut between the lunch and dinner trade, and an entry like this one gives no way of telling. The postal code will place a map in the right block, which in a plaza district is about as precise as a postal code ever gets.

The drive-throughs on Luckakuck are the visible half of eating here. The interesting half is downtown, out on the farm roads, and in the strip plazas nobody photographs.
