About HUB iInternational Insurance Brokers
An owner-run insurance broker, in the Sardis retail district.
November 2021 is still the reference point for insurance conversations in this valley. Sumas Prairie and the low ground along the Fraser flooded severely that month, and the question of what a policy covers, on what terms and with what deductible, stopped being an abstraction for a great many Chilliwack households and businesses. Any broker working here now fields that question routinely, and anyone buying cover ought to raise it early rather than assume.
Flood aside, broking in this municipality carries a workload the coastal cities do not. There is the ordinary home, auto and Autoplan trade, much of it transacted downtown or in the Sardis plazas, and behind it a substantial farm and commercial line: crop, livestock, outbuildings, equipment and liability across more than 700 farms. Those are different conversations with different paperwork, and not every office does both of them well. Autoplan in particular still means counter work in person, which is part of why so many brokers in this city sit where the parking is.
This entry places the business in Sardis, the retail heart of the city rather than its office quarter. Cottonwood Centre carries something over seventy tenancies, Chilliwack Mall faces it, and the Luckakuck Way strip runs between the two, so a broker here is generally in or above a plaza unit and generally reached by car. The name will be recognisable as a large brokerage operating well beyond the Fraser Valley rather than a single-office practice, which is worth stating because the record carries no street address, no telephone number and no website. That combination leaves the postal code as the only guide for anyone hoping to walk in, and a search under the brand name is realistically the faster route to a number and to whichever office handles Chilliwack business. None of which says anything about how this particular address operates, only about how to reach it.
