Day spa is a loose label, and in Chilliwack it stretches across three fairly different things. There are the day spas in Sardis and the downtown running facials, body treatments and packages; there are smaller treatment rooms working out of the back of a salon; and there is a visitor-facing strand out toward Cultus Lake and the Chilliwack River valley, attached to accommodation and aimed at people who drove into the valley for a weekend. Knowing which of the three you are telephoning saves a certain amount of confusion.
It is named for lashes and beauty, which sits closer to the salon end of that range than to the spa-day end, though no treatment list is set out and none will be invented here. The Sardis plazas pull people in from Vedder, Promontory and the hillside subdivisions as well as from the immediate streets, so the catchment is a good deal wider than the neighborhood name suggests.
A telephone number and a website are both published, which is the usual shape for this trade and useful here, because nearly everything worth knowing before a first appointment is booking-dependent. Which treatments are offered, how far ahead the book runs, how long a session takes and what it costs are all questions for the call rather than something answered here. Vedder Road traffic is worth allowing for either way.
