A locally owned burger restaurant, in the downtown, within walking distance of Five Corners.
This is one of the thinner records on the site, and the honest thing is to say so at the top. There is no street address, no phone number and no website attached to it, only a downtown postal code and the fact that somebody local is cooking burgers behind it. Enough to know the place exists and roughly where, not enough to plan an evening around.
What can be said with confidence is about the setting. V2P 4N1 falls inside Chilliwack Proper, the historic core, which holds about 31 per cent of the city's residents and the highest concentration of independent kitchens anywhere in the municipality. District 1881, the newest of the developments down there, brought a run of newer rooms in beside the established ones and thickened that cluster considerably. Everywhere else the restaurants are scattered rather than grouped, which is the single most useful thing to understand about eating out in Chilliwack. Vedder Road through Sardis has the greatest number overall, but most of them sit in strip plazas and are very easy to drive straight past, and out in Yarrow and Rosedale there are one or two that have outlasted several owners.
A diner working on burgers is a format that either takes in a town or does not, and it generally does better where there is a centre to walk around than where everything happens through a car window. Chilliwack has both conditions, in different parts of itself. Beyond that, anything about the menu, the hours or the room would be guesswork, and guesswork is not what this directory is for. A search on the name will turn up more than this page holds, and if it produces a phone number, use it before setting out, because small independent kitchens keep their own hours and change them without telling anyone.
