The blocks around Five Corners have been Chilliwack's commercial center since long before there was a mall anywhere in the city, and Young Road is one of the three streets that meet there, with Yale Road and Wellington Avenue. Unit 104 at 9259 Young Road sets Woodstone Pizza within walking distance of that junction and of most of the 350-plus businesses the downtown counts. Young Road stays commercial for a good stretch past the corner, which is how a unit numbered in the nine thousands still counts as central.
Pizza is about the most heavily franchised food there is, which makes an independent one worth flagging as independent. National chains do not appear on this site, and taking them out thins the category down to owner-run kitchens. In Chilliwack those are spread out rather than concentrated: the downtown has the densest run, District 1881 on the old Chilliwack Cattle Sales site added a cluster of newer rooms beside it, Vedder Road through Sardis and Vedder holds the largest raw number, and a few places in Yarrow and Rosedale have survived several changes of ownership. What is left once the chains come out is properly local, which is the point of keeping the list short.
Beyond the address, which the postal code will place on the correct block, there is not much else. No phone number and no website are published, and nothing is known about whether this is a room to sit down in, a counter to collect from, or both. The name implies an oven and the category says pizza; anything past that would be invention. A kitchen with no web presence is common enough here and says nothing at all about the food, but it does mean the information has to be gathered in person, and the downtown is the part of Chilliwack that rewards arriving on foot anyway.
