A restaurant on the western edge of the city off Highway 1.
Luckakuck Way is long enough that the house number tells you more than the street name does. At the eastern end, up in the 45000s, it is the big box strip running between Cottonwood Centre and Chilliwack Mall. Down at 44610 it has carried on west into Chilliwack West, closer to Highway 1 and the interchange, on ground that exists to serve the road rather than a neighbourhood. That distinction matters for a restaurant, because it changes who comes in and when.
Chilliwack West manages to hold a pair of the city's busiest commercial areas on a resident population of barely 2,500. Almost everything commercial out here is oriented to through traffic, the Eagle Landing retail centre included, and the industrial operations in Village West add a weekday trade of their own. The city's independent restaurants do not gather in one place: downtown holds the densest concentration, Vedder Road has the most rooms, and the remainder are dotted about the municipality, so an address on the western edge is less of an outlier than it looks on a map. Mountains stand close on three sides of the valley and the highway is the one flat way through, which is why the commercial weight of this neighbourhood sits where it does.
The Wack lists a phone number, (604) 847-0429, and nothing else by way of contact. No website appears on the record, which is common enough among rooms that fill on regulars and passing trade and have never needed one. It does mean the phone is the only route to hours, to whether the kitchen takes reservations, and to what is being cooked, none of which this page can tell you. What the record does confirm is the address and the postal code, which between them are enough to find the door. Coming from Sardis or the downtown it is a short run west, but go by the number rather than the street name.
