That downtown trade, around Wellington Avenue, runs to large browsing shops with deep second-hand stock. This is a different proposition and probably a complementary one. Vedder Road carries a lot of traffic that is going somewhere else, which is a disadvantage for a shop set back off it and an advantage for one people already know about. For anything specific, a card set, a back issue, a particular line, turning up and asking is the only method left open.
