Dentistry in Chilliwack has arranged itself into two clusters, and Vedder Dental Clinic belongs to the newer of them. The older cluster is downtown, around Chilliwack General Hospital on Menholm Road and through the professional blocks near Five Corners. The other runs south along Vedder Road through Sardis and into Vedder, following the population rather than the institutions. Between the two you can find general dentistry, hygiene, orthodontics, oral surgery and denture work, though not every practice does all of it.
Vedder is the reason that second cluster exists at all. The neighborhood grew 39 per cent between 2011 and 2021, faster than anywhere in the city except Promontory, and it now holds more people than anywhere but the downtown. Most of that growth is at the south end, in Garrison Crossing on the grounds of the old Canadian Forces base and the subdivisions that filled in around it. Services followed the houses. Canada Education Park and Tzeachten First Nation are inside the same neighborhood, which adds a working and studying population on top of the residential count. It is also worth knowing that rural Chilliwack, meaning Yarrow, Greendale, Rosedale and Ryder Lake, has essentially no dental provision of its own, so anyone booking from those roads is driving in to one corridor or the other regardless.

That is a real limitation for a practice, because the questions people have before booking tend to be whether the office is taking new patients, whether it direct-bills, and what happens with a problem that will not keep until the next free appointment. None of that can be answered from here, so anyone weighing up practices in this corridor will need to make contact another way and ask.
