Barbering came back in Chilliwack the way it came back most places, on the strength of new neighborhoods and the return of the traditional shop format, and the trade here now runs in two kinds of room. There are the newer shops in Garrison Crossing and the growing parts of Vedder, with the chairs, the hot towel and the appointment app, and there are the older two-chair rooms downtown that have been cutting hair on the same block for longer than most of the city has existed. Franchised chains are not listed on this site, which in this trade removes very little, since almost all of it is independently owned anyway.

No street address, telephone number or website is recorded here, which leaves the postal code and the map pin as the way to find the door. That is ordinary enough for a small owner-run shop, where the walk-in is the booking system and the sign on the window is the marketing. It does mean anyone planning around a particular day or hour is working blind, so the sensible approach is to treat this as a place to check in person rather than one to build an afternoon around. Sardis is compact enough that doing so costs very little.
