An owner-run school in Chilliwack Proper, between the downtown and the highway.
This part of the directory is not the public school district. It covers the other side of education in Chilliwack: independent and faith-based schools, tutoring, music and language teaching, driving instruction and trades training. Cascade Christian School belongs to the first of those groups, and independent faith schooling has deeper roots here than in most BC cities of this size, largely through the Mennonite and Reformed communities that settled Yarrow and Greendale. Yarrow began with twelve Mennonite families arriving in February 1928, on ground drained from Sumas Lake a few years earlier when the Vedder Canal was cut.
The school is placed in Chilliwack Proper, in the blocks between the downtown and the Highway 1 interchange, with a postal code and no street address. That is a working part of the city to sit in, and the roads through it carry traffic heading for the highway as much as local traffic. Drop-off and pick-up therefore share the road with people passing through. The area is also close to the Highway 1 interchange rather than tucked away from it, and an independent school draws from a wider area than a catchment school does, so an address near the highway is a practical advantage.
Beyond the neighborhood and the postal code, nothing else is available. No telephone, no website, no street address. For a school that is a significant gap, since the questions a parent actually has, which grades are offered, what admission involves, what it costs, what the school's religious character means day to day, cannot be answered from here under any circumstances. Those need a conversation with the school itself.
The south end of Chilliwack is the city's genuine education district, with the University of the Fraser Valley campus, the RCMP Pacific Region Training Centre and a Justice Institute of BC campus at Canada Education Park, but this address is north of all of that, in the retail middle.

The City defines twelve neighborhoods. Three of them hold about two thirds of the population and most of the shopfronts, and the other nine run from a drained lake bed to a hillside to a working dairy landscape. Here is the honest version of each.
