This section covers the private and supplementary side of education in Chilliwack rather than the public school district: independent and faith-based schools, of which the city has several with roots in the Mennonite and Reformed communities that settled Yarrow and Greendale, plus tutoring, music and language instruction, driving schools and trades training. The University of the Fraser Valley's Chilliwack campus at Canada Education Park sits alongside the RCMP Pacific Region Training Centre and a Justice Institute of BC campus, which makes the south end of the city a genuine education district.
