Furniture Stores
A local furniture shop in the Sardis retail district, on Luckakuck Way.
Furniture retail in this city splits three ways, and it is worth knowing which one you are walking into. There are the independent showrooms, mostly in Sardis or along the Young Road corridor, selling into a population that grew almost twelve per cent in the five years to 2025 and now sits somewhere above 112,000. There is a substantial second-hand and consignment trade, which is what happens in a place with a lot of both downsizing and arriving. And there is a small maker layer, cabinetmakers and reclaimed-timber workshops tucked into industrial units and out along the rural roads.
Hometown Furniture is at 45310 Luckakuck Way, in the first of those groupings. Luckakuck Way is the closest thing Chilliwack has to a big-box strip, running between Cottonwood Centre and Chilliwack Mall and carrying the heaviest retail traffic in the city. For furniture that address makes sense in a way it does not for every trade: it is where people already are when they are thinking about the house, and it is a street built for getting something large into the back of a vehicle without much ceremony. The trade-off is that a strip like this is built around driving, so it is not a browse you can fold into a walk.
The listing carries no phone number and no website, so anything you would want confirmed before setting out has to be confirmed in person. That includes what the shop actually carries. The independents here range from mattress and sofa floors to dining and bedroom sets to some mixture of all of it, and this record does not say which describes this one. Delivery, assembly and whether anything on the floor was made locally are equally unstated. What can be said is the address, which is the busiest stretch of retail road in the eastern Fraser Valley, and that the postal code will land a map squarely on it.

The City defines twelve neighborhoods. Three of them hold about two thirds of the population and most of the shopfronts, and the other nine run from a drained lake bed to a hillside to a working dairy landscape. Here is the honest version of each.
