Furniture Stores in Chilliwack
Furniture retail in Chilliwack splits three ways. There are the independent showrooms, generally in Sardis or on the Young Road corridor, selling mattresses, sofas and dining sets to a city that has been building houses at a furious rate. There is a strong second-hand and consignment trade, which is what happens in a place with a lot of both downsizing and arriving. And there is a small but real maker layer; cabinetmakers, live-edge and reclaimed-timber workshops in the industrial pockets and out on the rural roads, working with wood that in some cases came off local slopes. National furniture chains are not listed.
