Garden Centres in Chilliwack
This is a category where Chilliwack genuinely outperforms cities several times its size, and the reason is the soil. Greenhouse and nursery operations are one of the city's leading agricultural sectors, so garden retail here is often attached to actual growing rather than to a distribution depot — you are buying from the people who potted it. The largest operations are out along Highway 1 through Rosedale, where they draw visitors from well beyond the Fraser Valley, with more in Greendale and Yarrow. There is also a farm-supply strand carrying seed, feed, fencing and irrigation for people growing at a scale rather than in a border.
