A tearoom and a coffee shop are not quite the same proposition, though this directory files both under cafes. The word usually signals a room you sit down in rather than a counter you queue at, and a slower turnover of tables. It is worth using to confirm the address and the opening hours before making a trip downtown on the strength of that alone, particularly since a sit-down room is a poor thing to arrive at ten minutes before it closes.
