Things To Do in Chilliwack, page 2
Gyms, studios, hotels, schools, childcare and photographers — the businesses you use for a reason other than buying something. Chilliwack has more of this than a city of its size usually would, and the reason is that people come here on purpose. Cultus Lake, the Vedder, Mount Cheam and the Chilliwack River valley pull visitors through the whole warm half of the year, and the Canada Education Park campuses at the south end put several thousand students and trainees in the city. Between them they support a layer of accommodation, fitness, instruction and services that a purely residential town of ninety thousand would not sustain.
