Grocery Stores in Chilliwack

19 published grocery stores Chilliwack, BC

Chilliwack is an odd place to shop for food, in a good way. The supermarkets are all national and therefore absent from this list, but the city sits inside 17,000 hectares of farmland with more than 700 farms on it, which supports a layer of food retail most cities of this size do not have: farm stores that sell their own beef, dairy and eggs, greengrocers taking produce from a few kilometres away, butchers, bulk and health-food shops, and the roadside stands through Greendale, Yarrow and Rosedale that open with the corn in August and close when it is done. This page is the independent half of Chilliwack's grocery trade, and it is the interesting half.

Chilliwack eats in three separate places, and only one of them is obvious

The Luckakuck strip is the visible half of eating in Chilliwack, and the least interesting. The rest is downtown around Five Corners, in the numbered units of the Vedder Road plazas, and out on the farm roads through Greendale and Yarrow.
